Resources, Education, and Comprehensive Care for HIV (REACCH) Program at UPMC in Central Pa.

UPMC in central Pa. offers free and confidential HIV testing as well as primary HIV care and treatment for men, women and adolescents. Our Resources, Education, and Comprehensive Care for HIV (REACCH) Program provides a comprehensive approach to HIV care including medical, dental, and social services. The program is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is conveniently located in uptown Harrisburg at the Polyclinic campus. The REACCH Program is funded in part by the Ryan White Program and offers financial assistance for eligible patients. Patients are accepted into the program regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status.

Our highly experienced clinical care team consists of infectious disease doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a dental care team, and certified medical assistants. Se habla Español.

The REACCH Program also provides comprehensive wrap-around services to support people living with HIV. The clinical and social service teams develop a holistic, individualized plan of care for each patient, which includes both medical and psychosocial support. Our goal is to help people stay on their medications in order to maintain optimal wellness, in addition to preventing HIV infections within the communities we serve.

Our dedicated social service team consists of licensed social workers, medical case managers, an enrollment specialist, and a licensed professional counselor.
