If you believe that you are in labor, you should call your physician right away. After you arrive at UPMC Harrisburg, check-in at the welcome center in the main hospital lobby. You will be directed to dedicated elevators that travel directly to Labor and Delivery on the eighth floor where your care team will greet you.
If you are in labor or need assistance when you arrive at UPMC Harrisburg, your labor partner may temporarily park at the Emergency Department drop-off. After escorting you to your Labor and Delivery suite on the eighth floor, your partner will need to re-park in the patient/physician garage. If you are not in labor and do not need assistance upon arrival, please park in the patient/physician garage and proceed through the main lobby to the north elevators, which will take you to the eighth floor.
