Superhero window washers visit UPMC Harrisburg
A trio of superhero window washers suited up Friday as Spiderman, Superman and Captain America to rappel down the side of UPMC Children’s Hospital in Harrisburg. A UPMC Pinnacle Foundation staff member stayed inside the building, dressed as Wonder Woman, mingling with pediatric patients and staff. A pair of therapy dogs, each wearing a superhero outfit, were also on hand.

New camera system brings families closer to hospitalized newborns
A new camera system installed at UPMC Magee-Womens in Carlisle’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) allows new parents and family members to check in on their hospitalized infants. The password-protected webcam system called NicView, gives families a virtual connection to their newborns around the clock from anywhere in the world, UPMC in Central Pa. said.

33rd Annual UPMC Pinnacle Foundation Mary Jane & Cleve J. Fredricksen Golf Tournament

The Fredricksen Golf Tournament is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser, with attendees ranging from corporate professionals and board members to vendors and members of the community. This golf tournament is open to men, women, and mixed foursomes. Proceeds benefit UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing at UPMC Harrisburg
