Robert’s wife wouldn’t let up. She wanted Robert to have vascular screenings performed. Robert finally gave in, and he is glad that he did. Vascular screening identified an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) already at the point of needing medical attention. Robert had his AAA treated with a minimally invasive procedure called endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair or EVAR. After two days in the hospital, Robert went home. He had the procedure done in March, and he was out in the woods in April and turkey hunting by May.
