PinnacleHealth Community LifeTeam, a Mobile Integrated Health Service, employs more than 160 highly trained, certified Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics that are ready to respond to any medical emergency, day or night.

We continue to expand our emergency medical services to meet the needs of our community, providing both basic and advanced life support, to 27 municipalities in Dauphin, Cumberland and Northumberland Counties, and mutual aid to EMS services in Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Perry, Schuylkill and Northumberland counties.

PinnacleHealth Community LifeTeam is a member of the South Central Task Force which includes deployments to nationally declared disasters, as well as responses to local technical rescue incidents.

PinnacleHealth Community LifeTeam, a nonprofit organization, also provides non-emergency transportation and a robust Community Paramedicine Program. This program works with services within the community and PinnacleHealth system to assist in care when a patient is discharged from the hospital to home. This service line also promotes prevention practices of certain illnesses and networks with area agencies to assist in the care of these patients.

We are an American Heart Association Certified Training Center and a Pennsylvania licensed EMS Education Center. Community LifeTeam also provides EMS planning and coverage of significant special events across central PA; including, large sporting events and mass gatherings.

EMS Mission Line AwardAmerican Heart Association 2016 Mission: Lifeline, Bronze
The American Heart Association recognized PinnacleHealth for implementing quality improvement measures for the treatment of patients who experience severe heart attacks. Agencies that receive the Mission: Lifeline Bronze award have demonstrated at least 75 percent compliance on all Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center quality measures to improve the quality of care for STEMI patients for a minimum of one quarter.

PinnacleHealth Community Life Team offers memberships for residents of the City of Harrisburg and 26 Dauphin and Northumberland Municipalities. With a membership, Community Life Team will accept your insurance carrier’s payment for medically necessary services and typically you will not be billed for the difference. Membership entitles you to unlimited emergency ambulance service (basic and advanced life support), 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Membership does NOT include medical wheelchair transport van and ambulance services for non-emergencies.

Consider making a separate tax-deductible donation to PinnacleHealth Community Life Team. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the ambulance service depends on generous support to provide services and medical equipment.
