You can count on PinnacleHealth to deliver high-quality, comprehensive emergency medical services 24/7. From major accidents and illnesses to minor bumps and bruises, we are ready and able to provide the region’s best care when you need us most.
With emergency departments (ED) at our Community, Harrisburg and West Shore campuses, PinnacleHealth is prepared to take the best care of you or your loved one in the event of a serious accident or health condition. Our emergency departments are open 24/7 and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
We know that every second counts in a life-threatening emergency. That is why we have developed specialized programs such as:
- The Stroke Center. Stroke patients who come to PinnacleHealth’s emergency department receive immediate, comprehensive treatment from a specialized team. Treatment may include the “clot-busting” drug called tPA that can help protect brain function in the event of a stroke.
- Code STEMI for heart attack. In the Code STEMI process, emergency responders alert appropriate ED staff members as soon as they suspect a patient is having a heart attack. The staff is then ready to transfer the patient from the ED doors to the cardiac catheterization lab for treatment.
Urgent Care Centers
At PinnacleHealth, we understand that minor injuries and illnesses don’t always happen during business hours. That’s why we partnered with Concentra to bring the best urgent care to central Pennsylvania. Our Urgent Care centers are open seven days a week, including nights, to help you get the treatment you need when it’s convenient for you.
FastCare Retail Clinics
PinnacleHealth’s FastCare retail clinics, located inside the Camp Hill and Enola Giant Food Stores, can treat a range of minor illnesses and ailments for patients 18 months and older—no appointment required.
PinnacleHealth Express is conveniently located in Harrisburg Hospital. We’re available to provide fast, high-level, primary and urgent care services if you can’t get in to see your doctor.
