REACCH (HIV Resources)
PinnacleHealth offers free and confidential HIV testing as well as primary HIV care and treatment for men, women and adolescents. Our Resources, Education, and Comprehensive Care for HIV (REACCH) program provides a comprehensive approach to HIV care. The program is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and is conveniently located in uptown Harrisburg on the Polyclinic campus.
The clinical care team consists of three infectious disease doctors, a nurse practitioner and two registered nurses. Services include:
- HIV treatment
- Help with treatment adherence
- Primary medical care
- HIV education
- Now offering a free HIV test using a finger stick with results in 10 minutes
REACCH also provides comprehensive wrap-around services to provide support for people with HIV. The clinical and support develops a holistic, individualized plan of care for each patient, which includes both medical and psychosocial support. Our goal is to help people stay on their medications and remain as healthy as they can.
Psychological and social support services include:
- Case management
- Support services for patients and their families
- Nutritional counseling
- Social services
- Financial counseling
- Help accessing community resources
- Treatment adherence support
- Outreach to those who have fallen out of care
