How does PinnacleHealth compare?

In April 2015, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released "star ratings" for nearly 3,500 Medicare-certified acute-care hospitals across the U.S., including 14 hospitals in the central Pennsylvania area. PinnacleHealth System received the second-highest rating of four stars, one of the highest ratings in our area. 

The stars rating is based on the eleven publicly reported measures in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which assesses patient experiences. This year's ratings evaluated patient experiences from July 2013 to June 2014.
