You will need to bring the following items to your appointment:

  • Your Insurance Card
  • Photo ID
  • Previous Medical Records
  • List of Your Medications: including the dose and the times you take them; alternatively, you may want to just bring them with you.
  • List of Your Concerns: issues you want to discuss with your physician.
  • Your Payment: please be prepared to pay your deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance and any other amounts due at the time of your visit.

Accepted Insurance:

Bring your insurance cards to all of your office visits. Failure to do so or insurances that cannot be verified at the time of service may result in your appointment being rescheduled. Please note, prior to the visit it is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance company to verify that Carlisle Surgical Institute is participating with their health plan, make sure they have the proper referrals/authorizations and verify that the insurance is active.

We currently participate with most major insurances.

With our expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery to invasive abdominal and colo/rectal surgery, our staff is committed to the utmost patient care, focusing on faster recovery time and reducing risk of infection.

Our providers currently perform colonoscopies, minor office procedures, gastrointestinal surgery, major and minor colon/rectal surgery, non-cosmetic breast surgery, esophageal and paraesophageal hernia repair, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, in-office hemorrhoid banding, and other general major and minor surgeries related to the skin, breast, rectum and abdomen.

Q. What is a General Surgeon?

A. A general surgeon is a physician who has completed an internship and residency at a Residency Review Committee approved program. Most of these are University based and offer rotations at busy private and county hospitals. The residency is a minimum of five years.

A general surgeon is well trained in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of congenital, infectious, malignant and benign diseases. In addition, he or she has extensive knowledge of postoperative and critical care of patients.

The focus is on the abdominal organs, breast, neck, peripheral arteries and veins, and skin and soft tissue.
