Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons of Lancaster Testimonials
I thought I was maintaining a healthy lifestyle- watching my weight and jogging regularly. But my shortness of breath was a sign of a leaking heart valve. Not an emergency, but a condition that needed repair. Dr. Brown at LRMC is an excellent doctor who took the time to explain everything.
My only symptom was tightness in my chest when I walked uphill. But when a test showed a blockage, I was taken right to surgery—no going home to pack. The care I received from Dr. Brown at LRMC was the best ever.
I suspected plaque build-up in my heart was slowing me down. Two bypasses later, I was fast on the mend. The care I received from Dr. Brown at LRMC was very professional and personal; from initial diagnosis, through my surgeries, to my recovery and well into my follow-up.
Christine, friend of cardiac bypass patient in Lancaster, PA
“My significant other, Bob, was in your ICU for 17 days after heart bypass. They saved his life! His surgeon, Dr. Paul Brown, and other physicians and the ICU staff were the best. I know Bob caused some sleepless nights for Dr. Brown! Our nurse, Lori, even called in to see how Bob was doing on her days off! I had a special connection with Lori. I just can’t say enough about the care he had. In fact, I am going to check my health benefits to make sure I can choose Lancaster Regional or I will make a change as soon as I can.” Christine, Lancaster, PA.
