In an effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and their families, PinnacleHealth counts on patients and visitors to comply Our Code of Conduct.

  • Observe any restrictions posted on a patient’s door.
  • Limit the number of visitors in each room and be aware of the noise level.
  • Please keep the television volume at a level that will not disturb other patients.
  • Permission from the nurse manager is required to stay with a patient overnight.
  • Respect a patient’s right to privacy. Federal law requires that hospitals comply with strict laws to protect patients’ privacy. Staff can only provide condition updates to patients’ designated representatives.
  • Do not visit if you are sick or have an illness that could be transmitted to a patient.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Be respectful and courteous of both patients and hospital staff. Also, please be respectful of the property of other people and the hospital.
The following are prohibited at PinnacleHealth:
  • Taking pictures without the consent of the person you are photographing.
  • Wearing apparel with obscene language.
  • Possession and/or use of street drugs and alcoholic beverages.
  • Using disruptive language or violent behavior.
  • Cell phone use is prohibited in NICU and Toxicology.
  • Use of any form of tobacco is prohibited inside and outside all PinnacleHealth property.
Visitors who do not comply with this Code of Conduct will be asked to leave PinnacleHealth property and may be escorted by security. Thank you for your cooperation.
