What is the Wings to Fly program about?
It’s an interfaith celebration of life involving administration, readings by local clergy members of various faiths, special music featuring a guest soloist and harpist, reading of names and lighting of candles.
Who is invited to attend?
Loved ones of deceased PinnacleHealth patients and PinnacleHealth HomeCare and Hospice clients.
How many people can I invite?
The church can accommodate 500 worshipers so feel free to invite any and all family and friends as deemed appropriate.
How long does it last?
The celebration ceremony typically lasts about an hour.
Do I have to bring anything? Do I have to do anything?
No, just the fond memories of your loved one. Participants are not required to speak.
Are there any costs?
No. PinnacleHealth absorbs the cost of the church rental, the soloist, harpist, decorations, etc. You are not expected to pay for anything.
