Your bill from PinnacleHealth Hospitals will include charges for the following items:
Room and Board Charges
These charges include the cost of each type of room used during your admission. Example: semi-private, private, intensive care or coronary care. It includes your nursing care. It also includes the cost of meals, laundry and housekeeping. Private rooms are provided when available at an additional cost. The charge for the first day is due at the time of admission/occupancy. Payment is the responsibility of the patient.
Ancillary Services
The charges for ancillary services include the cost of medication, rehabilitation services, radiology services and all diagnostic testing.
Supplies
These charges include the cost of all supplies necessary to treat your condition.
Other Bills
PinnacleHealth Hospitals do not bill you for services provided by your private physician, anesthesiologist or other independent medical professionals, including physicians and other specialists who interpret certain tests such as pathology results, X-rays and EKGs. You will receive separate billings from them, and you should contact them if you have questions about their billings.
