The Respiratory Care Services Clinical Ladder is voluntary and rewards Respiratory Therapist/Technicians who have expanded their knowledge
and clinical practice through self-development goals.
The ultimate purpose is to improve and sustain a higher level of care to patients,
physicians and co-workers and improve the competitive position of the department in the community. Staff who have completed six months of continuous service, successfully complete department orientation in all clinical areas and maintain a satisfactory annual performance review are eligible.
PinnacleHealth encourages continuing education by providing a variety of training at no cost to its employees, including ACLS, EKG courses, NALS/PALS, CPR and personal computer classes.
