Pathologists are physicians who interpret slides produced from tissue biopsies that surgeons and other physicians obtain from patients. The tissue interpretations then are used to determine appropriate treatment for the patient. 

 
A pathologist serves as the medical director of the Laboratory and is responsible for the accuracy of all patient testing.
 
Education: MD or DO and Board Certification.
