Ernest R. McDowell Health Career Scholarship

Administered by the PinnacleHealth Auxiliary, this scholarship is primarily for high school seniors pursuing a health-related career. In January, applications are sent to area guidance counselors. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and financial need. The Auxiliary is responsible for the selection process and signing of the promissory note. PinnacleHealth employees are also eligible.

PinnacleHealth System Scholarship for HACC Programs

These scholarships are awarded by the HACC Foundation to students starting their first year of clinical studies in nursing or allied healthcare. At the time of application, students must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file.

Buchart Endowment Fund

This scholarship is available to PinnacleHealth employees who are a junior or senior in a BSN program. Occasionally, it is also available to those employees pursuing an MSN. Interested nursing students must complete an application form and interview process with PinnacleHealth System. PinnacleHealth is responsible for awarding the scholarship and signing of the promissory note. Application deadline for each year is the first Friday in April.
