What is it?
The Nurse Externship Program is designed to provide Nursing Students the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience! Our program offers externs employment opportunities and career possibilities. This is a paid externship for nursing students who are in their final year at a nursing program. Externs work in rotating shifts (including weekend assignments). Scheduling is flexibleto allow you to participate in the program while attending school.
The Nurse Externship Program allows you to:
- Apply your theoretical background to the practical application of nursing practice
- Obtain first-hand experience as you develop nursing skills
- Observe selected clinical procedures under direct RN supervision
- Develop effective communication skills within the healthcare environment
How can I apply?
We are seeking individuals who are committed to continuous learning to join our organization. The Nurse Externship Program provides an opportunity to grow clinically and professionally. We require the following to apply for the program:
- Completion of an employment application
- Copy of current transcripts
- A letter of intent
- A resume
- 2 letters of recommendation
