Each year, Breastfeeding Education Day is held during World Breastfeeding Week in August. This four-hour seminar in sponsored by PinnacleHealth Learning Institute and planned by PinnacleHealth's Breastfeeding Committee. Presentations take place in the morning and are repeated in the afternoon, allowing nurses who are working to attend.
Nationally known speakers present on topics of interest to hospital staff nurses and other healthcare providers and volunteers who assist new mothers with breastfeeding. Nursing contact hours available.
