Through the McCormick Society, named for James and Henry McCormick, two founders of Harrisburg Hospital, you have the power to make a lasting impact on healthcare with a planned gift to PinnacleHealth. These types of charitable arrangements offer you the chance to give to PinnacleHealth now or after your lifetime, helping you align your charitable giving with your overall financial and estate plans.

Raymond and Frieda Gover

Ray and Frieda have been long-time supporters of PinnacleHealth System. In the mid-1980s and most of the '90s Ray, the former publisher of the Patriot News, served on the Board of Directors of Capital Health System. “The Board was instrumental in helping the administration remodel the infrastructure of Harrisburg Hospital. I had a great deal of respect for the administration. Managing a hospital was a fascinating endeavor. I enjoyed the fundraising part. Frieda and I have included PinnacleHealth in our will because we have always felt an obligation to give back to our community. PinnacleHealth has a special place in our hearts. We are grateful for the excellent care we and our family have received at PinnacleHealth hospitals. This is a complex enterprise to manage. Our gift is one of perpetuity, one that has no end, enabling PinnacleHealth to move successfully into the future.”

The McCormick Society recognizes those individuals who have provided future support to the PinnacleHealth Foundation through their estate and/or life income plans.

Each year estate and life income gifts add significantly to the financial stability of the Foundation, providing lasting support for PinnacleHealth programs and services. Informing the Foundation of your plans helps us to recognize your commitment as a member of the McCormick Society and it also helps us understand how you want us to use your gift.

Notification of your intentions need not be more than a simple statement that you have included PinnacleHealth Foundation in your estate plans for a certain amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residual of your estate. You may also choose to share the page of your will referencing PinnacleHealth if you are comfortable doing so.
