y constructed rooms are located on the third and fourth floors of Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Amenities for patients recovering from surgical and other procedures include flat-screen TVs, large bathrooms and pullout sofa beds for visitors. The 64 new private rooms appeal to aging, more discerning patients who want more comfortable hospital accommodations.
The new floors and rooms also have features designed to improve the quality of care, including nursing "pods" which put nurses closer to their patients, a call bell system that sends targeted messages, and computers placed at bedside to allow for better medical documentation and coordination of care.
