HARRISBURG, Pa. (September 10, 2013) -- PinnacleHealth and their Make A Date Every 8
program are helping women to turn hope for a healthy life and free time into action during the PinkHope Party
on October 8, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fredricksen Outpatient Center, 2015 Technology Parkway, Mechanicsburg.
Ask most women and you will find that they have many hopes. Hopes for their families, jobs and yes, even for a little free time to themselves. When you ask about their health, that too often falls on the hope list as well, instead of the to-do list.
The PinkHope Party
will feature festive food and beverage, wine and chocolate pairing, mini manicures and chair massages and some fashionable shopping opportunities. But don’t be confused, we want you to make your health a priority too!
During this event women will not only learn about breast cancer prevention and diagnosis, they will also be able see what the next steps are should they have concerns. Imaging tours will allow women to see what the mammogram process is like. Healthcare providers will be on hand to answer questions, including PinnacleHealth Breast Care Center surgeon Dr. Katherine Barton.
“Taking time for yourself as a woman is an important part of health. Being healthy doesn’t have to be all work, it can be fun too!” states Dr. Barton, MD.
If you plan to attend, call (717) 231-8900 to RSVP. The first 200 registered get a special gift! Walk-ins are welcome.
