HARRISBURG, Pa. (September 9, 2013) -- PinnacleHealth Eat Smart, Play Smart
is a weight management program for overweight children and their parents. Classes begin on the East and West Shore in October. Formerly known as KidShape, families meet once a week over nine weeks for a fun-filled program that helps overweight children (ages 6-14) to become healthy.
Eat Smart, Play Smart employs only degree, certified instructors in nutrition, mental health and physical education using interactive games, cooking demonstrations and minimal discussion to uncover habits, choices and learn how to make better ones in order to lead a healthy, productive life. This three-pronged approach focuses on increasing physical activity, eating a balanced, healthy diet and discussing why we make certain food choices.

Serve healthy foods and drinks
