More Central Dauphin School District students will be coming to class Monday morning with full tummies thanks to a recent donation.
PinnacleHealth recently gave $36,400 to the Panther Ram Foundation to expand the Power Pack Program, according to a statement from the health system. The program is going on its third year and provides food to students’ families during the weekends.
That funding is expected to help expand the program to another 100 students and an eighth elementary school — Chambers Hill Elementary — when it kicks off in the first week of October, said Amy Snyder, a social worker at the school district and founder of the Power Pack Program.
