Although many studies have been done to test the relationship between caffeine and pregnancy, we have yet to hear a consensus about how much caffeine is safe to consume while pregnant or trying to conceive. However, there is one general agreement about caffeine: it is not safe in large quantities. If you're going to have it, try to stay under 200 mg per day.

To put this into perspective, here are a few common drinks and their caffeine content:
- 8 oz. cup of coffee= 95-200 mg
- 16 oz. Starbucks brewed coffee= 330 mg
- 8 oz. brewed green tea= 25 mg
- 1 oz. espresso shot at Starbucks= 75 mg
- 1 5-Hour Energy= 138 mg
- 12 oz. Diet Coke= 47 mg
- 12 oz. Coke= 35 mg
- 12 oz. Sprite, Sierra Mist, 7-Up= 0 mg
