It's best to start with foods that are easy for the baby to digest. I started my children on oatmeal or rice cereal with a bit of formula to make it soupy, and then gradually introduced pureed peaches, bananas, sweet potatoes, and carrots because they are all easily digested. From there, there are endless options! You just have to be careful to not make each meal sweet because then your baby will get used to the sweet taste and not want anything that isn't sweet.
