Anyone know of a way to prevent getting leg cramps at night when I'm sleeping? It keeps happening to me, and it hurts!

Bananas!! experts say that legs cramps can be caused by lack of potassium in the body. Also, stretching throughout the day and especially before you go to bed will help relax your muscles.

it could mean you're dehydrated.. try drinking more water, gatorade, or something of that kind throughout the day.

Leg cramps happen most people at some point in their life. Here's the major tips to help prevent those pesky, painful leg cramps: stretch daily(especially before bed), drink plenty of fluids, eat foods rich in calcium, potassium and magnesium, try to get out and exercise a few times a week, and make sure to take your vitamins!! You would be amazed if you knew how a lack of different  vitamins or minerasl can affect your body.
