How to Obtain Your Medical Records Online
Please note that only selected records are published to this secure portal. If you need your complete record from PinnacleHealth there is an option to request it on the left hand panel. Currently you must be age 18 or older to enroll and use the Patient Portal. A proxy for minors and other caregivers may be available in the future.
Please follow these four steps.
1. Go to the Health Information Department at Harrisburg Hospital or Community General Hospital. Hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. for both Harrisburg Hospital and Community General Osteopathic Hospital. For directions to the facility please click on the Hospital name listed below.
- Harrisburg Hospital – Once in the Harrisburg Hospital Lobby head straight down to the end of the hallway towards the blue bank of Elevators. Take the blue bank elevators to the basement, turn right and go to the Health information window on your left.
- Community General Hospital – Once at the facility go to the front desk in the main lobby and ask to be directed to the Health Information Department on the first floor.

Provide:
- A Government issued Photo ID such as a Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, etc.
- Your personal email address.
3. You will be given a user validation code and an e-mail will be sent to the account you provided.

Open the e-mail. Click on the link.
Enter the user validation code where requested and
choose an appropriate user name and password.
