Recognized by the American Diabetes Association as a quality education program. This class is a four-class series for people with diabetes. Learn as a group about food, activity, medication, complication prevention, management and how to cope with the chronic disease.

"Heartstrings" is a perinatal bereavement support group for those who have experienced a pregnancy loss or newborn death. You are welcome to join us, no matter where you are in your grief or how long it has been since your loss. You may choose to talk, or just listen. Some meetings include brief presentations, as well as time for sharing. Two registered nurses, who are also perinatal bereavement counselors, will facilitate the meetings.
This support group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month (third Tuesday in December) at the PinnacleHealth Community Campus in the 2nd floor conference rooms.
There is no charge and no registration is required.

A general infertility, peer-led support group sponsored through RESOLVE, a national non-profit organization designed to support and educate women and couples struggling with infertility. This support group is open for women and couples who would like the opportunity to connect with other individuals going through infertility. A topic within infertility will be presented at each meeting to help facilitate discussion.

We invite pre- and post-surgical patients, as well as their family and friends, to attend our monthly support group. These gatherings offer an opportunity for individuals to come together to talk, share experiences, and provide emotional support to one another.
In addition, our support group presents a variety of speakers on topics designed to provide useful information, lifestyle tips and support as you work toward your weight loss goals.

PinnacleHealth Young Cancer Survivor Group
The Young Cancer Support Group is reserved for young women who were 45 years old or younger when they were first diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer. Women will have an opportunity for sharing personal stories. Events may include guest speakers, open discussions and other activities. Rainbows: Pregnancy After Loss Support Group
PinnacleHealth Rainbows: Pregnancy After Loss support group offers a safe environment of encouragement and caring for pregnant women, their partners and family. Pregnancy after a loss creates a wide range of feelings that some have described as an emotional rollercoaster. If you are considering becoming pregnant, are expecting, or have recently given birth, please join us to share thoughts, concerns, experiences and hope.
In addition to time for sharing, some meetings may include brief presentations. Two registered nurses, who are perinatal bereavement counselors, facilitate the meetings.
The support group meets on the second Thursday of the month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Helen M. Simpson Rehab Hospital, PinnacleHealth Community Campus, second floor, 4300 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg.
There is no fee to attend and pre-registration is not-required.

PinnacleHealth is pleased to join SPOHNC as a local chapter, one of only 100 in the country. SPOHNC concentrates on providing current information for oral and head and neck cancer patients who are trying to gain a better understanding of their illness and their lives. Our support group helps to increase awareness of the many ongoing issues related to head and neck cancer and to address the broad medical, emotional and humanistic needs of patients empowering each to take an active role in his or her recovery.
