The PinnacleHealth stroke team’s proven protocol for improving patient outcomes includes evaluation for Tissue Plasminogen Activator (t-PA), a “clot busting” drug that can dissolve blockage and alleviate stroke symptoms in some patients if administered within four and a half hours of the start of stroke symptoms.
