Parenting Class: Progressive Parenting

The rearing of your child can be a challenging task. It will often force you to explore your own biases and childhood experiences which could help you engage or disengage with your child.

The journey of parenthood is not meant to be a solitary task.  This group can help decrease your anxiety about raising your child and provide the opportunity you need to make more conscientious decisions about raising your child.
Some of the issues that will be addressed by this 7 week class are: parenting styles, basics of child rearing, discipline, teenagers, building healthy relationships, recognizing the pitfalls of troubled families, aid in appropriate decision making about your family and assist
in changing negative patterns of functioning.

To register for this class, please call 231-8360 to contact the PinnacleHealth Psychological Associates office.
